| Tear the Squid sheet out of the book along the perforated line, or print a copy of the Squid koki from this site.

Using your scissors cut out the shape along the outside black line.
|
Cut right around the shape and don't forget to go up each tentacle.

| Using your knife and cutting board, cut around 3/4 of the eye circle as the black line indicates.
|
Now cut out the two slots that will have the tab threaded through to hold the koki on.
|
As this is a one-size-fits-all koki there is only one set of two slot marks to cut ready to lock the koki together.

| Using a biro or similar rounded instrument gently stretch and curl the tentacles.
|
Fold the body of the squid along the two black lines so that the body part overlaps the head. This will strengthen the form.
|
Using your fingers press some wavy shaping into the squids top knot.

| Thread the tab through the two rectangular slots you cut in the body and lock the tab together using the two cut slots. This will keep the squid cylindrical.

Now you have a handsome squid koki ready to slip on and enter "The Play"
